Frances Nelson’s installation for Storefronts Seattle

Storefronts is a project of Shunpike, an arts support agency based in Seattle, and is funded by the City of Mount Vernon and the Downtown Association. We aim to bring life to dark corners, using the arts to activate empty retail real estate. Our first projects should be live in March, 2013.

Storefronts Mount Vernon is a sister project of Storefronts Seattle, Storefronts Auburn, and the soon-to-launch Storefronts Bellevue and Storefronts Burien. It’s part of a rising tide of streetscape activation projects, looking to revitalize our once-and-future thriving downtown walking districts. We hope to see you out and about on the streets this Spring.
