Please join Storefronts Seattle tonight in celebrating two new pieces in Chinatown. We’ll be hosting a couple of Sidewalk Receptions for new work by Gregg Schlanger and Paul D. McKee, right there on the sidewalk in front of the work.
Gregg has created a stunning, bright, crisp and clear tall-glass-of-water of an installation called Basic Water Requirement at 505 5th Avenue South (around the south side of the building, around the corner from the Starbucks).
Paul D McKee has created a piece that engages the public dialogue between him and the “other” Paul McKee, an artist who, coincidentally (?) had an installation in the same storefront space last year at 411 Maynard Avenue South. (Tee-hee.)
Come on down tonight and meet the artists, have some cheese, and view this beautiful new work.
Very cool
