Paul D. McKee has created a stunning, buzzing, engaging, dramatic, but also totally charmingly domestic installation piece for Storefronts.
The work, which has just opened on Maynard Ave S in the Chinatown – International District, features two horned heads facing off in the corner of a classically Victorian dining room, antlers locked around a hornet’s nest. Everywhere there are bees buzzing around the room, in the windows, on their faces… And it’s awesome!
Come on down and see it in person this weekend when you’re in the ID for Dragonfest! Whether you’re coming for the Dragon dances or Happy Hour, for the Anime Costume Contest or the Taiko drumming, make sure to check out all of our Storefronts installations while you’re in the neighborhood. It’s going to be a giant weekend.
