All Dressed Up

Josie Davis, along with two other artists in Buenos Aires, created three life-size adult dresses for the 2011 PLOP! Series in Argentina. Each dress is uniquely designed to reflect the development of character and story as captured in the pages of books, including narration, climax, plot, conflict, protagonism, and resolution.

Josie Davis’ Vestidos de Papel (Paper Dresses) currently on display on Main Street

This month, and for the next two months, Josie’s work lights up Main Street (at 123 Main) as part of the Storefronts Auburn installation series. Check it out, the work’s being shown in Auburn as the first stop of its premiere North American tour.
