First Thursday in the ID

First Thursday is upon us again, and Storefronts has some seriously good offerings this month. If you haven’t been down to the International District lately, tonight’s the night. A new show opens at IDEA Odyssey, Balik/ Ibalik, featuring photographs from the Philippines by Carina A. del Rosario. The photographs document the artist’s return to the Philippines after many years, exploring “memory and reality in her birthplace”.  Opening reception 5-8pm, 666 S. Jackson St.

And while you’re in the neighborhood, stop in at Tuesday Scarves, which will be featuring Chubby Cloud‘s fabulous, eco-friendly accessories and DeuceFashion‘s elegant, eye-catching jewelry for one night only. And of course, there will be scarves! First Thursday event 5-9pm, 608 Maynard Ave. S.
