Call for Artists and Creative Businesses!

Storefronts Auburn, an offshoot of the Storefronts Seattle program, is proud to announce its first Request for Proposals.

Storefronts Auburn is a neighborhood activation program, supporting the health and

vitality of a city’s walking neighborhoods through temporary pairings of artists and

creative businesses with vacant storefronts spaces.

Storefronts Auburn is now accepting applications for its three program tracks:

Installations offer artists a temporary storefront space to display any two-dimensional,

three-dimensional or new media artwork. The program offers

$500 to support the creation of new work, or the installation of existing work.

Works in this track are viewed from outside the closed storefront only

(through the windows). If you are interested in applying for the Installation

track, please email mmcknight@auburnwa.gov or call 253-804-5043.

Installation Track: Elizabeth Gahan

Artist Residencies offer artists of any discipline creative space to pursue

new projects. Residencies are approximately 3 months in duration.

Residency spaces are not open to the general public and do not house public

events (such as performances or exhibits), although “Open House” nights

and interaction with neighbors is encouraged. If you are interested in applying

for the Residencies track, please email mmcknight@auburnwa.gov or call 253-804-5043.

Residencies Track: Luke Haynes
